In the Garden Of My Dreams series, I include fauna from India, where I was born & flora from USA, where I now live.
The peacock is a cultural symbol in India, where I grew up.
I would remember going to my dad's native village and peacocks would fly up to the kitchen and eat seeds from our hands. India's national bird signifies confidence and strength.
 
The wildflowers of the North Eastern part of the United States add ideas of protection, good fortune and remembrance to this already majestic animal mug.
 
Combining animals/ birds from India into my work which has local flora from the United States is a true unique expression of my art at this stage in my life. Each cup has unique flowers pressed in, which burn out after the first firing.
 
They also have handcrafted stamps pressed in clay. Each piece is glazed with non toxic glazes to bring the animals and flowers to life and fired to 2200F.
 
Botanical mugs are perfect to bring in some beauty to your morning table, for outdoor mid day coffees, on your work from home tables reminding you of the outdoors, or mid day summer picnics in the sun.

They are then glazed with non toxic glazes to bringing them to life before they are glazed and fired again.
